Teaching Assistant

Required from September 2024

We are seeking to appoint a friendly and enthusiastic, experienced Teaching Assistant to work within our team and be part of our creative school.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a school that is committed to achievement for all its pupils, ongoing professional development for staff and to make a real impact on pupils and their progress. 

The role will enable you to support both in the classroom and work with small intervention groups. 

We are looking for candidates who: 

• Have an understanding of the Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculums.
• Have knowledge of the Read Write Inc Programme (desirable).
• Have a happy, can-do attitude and can motivate children with confidence and passion.
• Are committed to children enjoying and engaging in their learning.
• Are a team player with excellent communication skills and will demonstrate excellent working relationships with colleagues across school.

Old Park is a large primary school with 560 children on roll and a 120 place Nursery.
