Our curriculum intent:

At Old Park Primary School, we believe that Design Technology should be an opportunity for our pupils to explore, experience new challenges and take risks. Our intent is that all pupils should be able to secure subject knowledge, develop skills and show an understanding of technical and mechanical systems. It is our aim to create an inspiring, engaging, unique and practical learning environment, through which all pupils can delve into their own creativity and imaginations to create something, for someone, for some purpose. Throughout our curriculum, pupils are provided with opportunities to dig deeper through research and investigation, experiment with design and create products with links to real life context.
